Laboratorio nº 287 de la REDLAB (Comunidad de Madrid). + info
The main activities, techniques and research lines of the Low Temperature Laboratory are:
Low temperature physics and cryogenics: design and construction of 3He-4He equipment (7 mK) dedicated to Scanning Tunneling Microscopy/Spectroscopy (STM/S).
Very high magnetic fields (currently, up to 17 T).
Fluxonics and vortex matter in superconductors: nanoscale superconductivity studied with STM/S, isolated vortices and vortex lattice in nanostructures, single crystals.
Topological superconductors.
Thermal properties of solids at low temperatures. Physics of Glasses and Non-Crystalline Solids.
